Foyle Ladies
travelled to the Hilton Templepatrick on
Friday September 11th for Lady Captain
Margaret Mc Carron's Week - end away.

the ladies after a late night for some!
Margaret Andrews won the main event of
the Week - end playing lovely golf and
navigating the water hazards better than
most. Christine Mc Cafferty won the
nearest the pin with a beautiful shot on
the 4th hole.
Everyone was up
bright and breezy on Sunday for the 10

tiredness or sore heads. Ann Hamilton
made most of the perfect weather
conditions to win Sundays Competition
with Nicky Fallon Getting the nearest

LADY
CAPTAINS DAY MARGARET MC CARRON
FRIDAY 14TH
AUGUST
Naomi Hamilton
surprized everyone at Foyle on Friday
last when the teenager scooped Margaret
Mc Carron's Lady Captains prize. Naomi
playing in her first Lady Captains Day
returned a solid score of 38pts just
holding of her nearest rivals by one
shot. No doubt the 36 handicapper will
now attract the attention of Handicap
Secretary Maureen Louden who just
happened to be one of Naomi's playing
partners on the day. The runner-up was
Carol Scoltock who held of Agnes Mc
Laughlin and Sarah Hamilton on a break
of tie all three players returning
scores of 37pts. Despite the event being
delayed for an hour due to heavy rain
the weather conditions did not deter the
Ladies Branch who turned out in force to
honour the Ballyarnett Club's highly
respected Lady Captain Margaret Mc
